| First Step | File report at airport baggage desk immediately |
| Tracking | WorldTracer system using PIR reference number |
| Contents | Submit baggage contents form; AirTag updates accepted |
| Extended Delay | Dedicated phone numbers for USA/Canada after 5+ days |
First Steps When Baggage Does Not Arrive
Go directly to the airport baggage desk before leaving arrivals. File a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Keep your boarding pass, bag tags, booking reference, and PIR reference number.
How Delayed Baggage Is Handled
Most delayed bags are located within 24 to 48 hours. Aer Lingus uses WorldTracer for tracking. The airline may arrange delivery to your accommodation once located.
Adding Baggage Contents
Aer Lingus asks travelers to provide baggage contents and notes that AirTag updates can be shared through WorldTracer. Be thorough with your bag description.
Extended Delays
If your bag has been delayed more than 5 days, dedicated phone numbers are available for USA/Canada travelers. You may also need to complete a formal expense claim.
